Account and Data Deletion Request

Effective date: August 4, 2026

At WanderAgent (developed by WanderAgent AI), we value your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. You may request the deletion of your WanderAgent account and all associated personal data at any time.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request account deletion using either of the following methods:

Via Email Request (Web & Store Users):
Send an email from your registered account email address to privacy@wanderagent.ai with the subject line WanderAgent Account Deletion Request. Please specify your account email address so we can locate and verify your profile.
In-App Deletion (Mobile Application):
Open the WanderAgent app on your Android or iOS device, navigate to Settings → Account & Security → Delete Account, and confirm your deletion request.

Once submitted, your request will be acknowledged within 48 hours and processed within 30 calendar days. You will receive a confirmation email once data deletion is complete.

Types of Data Deleted

When your account deletion request is processed, the following personal and usage data is permanently deleted from our primary servers and databases:

Account Profile & Credentials: Email address, display name, Google/Firebase authentication UIDs, and access tokens.
Traveler Profiles & Vector Models: Personal travel preferences, companion profiles, and AI personalization embeddings.
Trips & Itineraries: Saved destinations, custom itineraries, daily schedules, liked places, and bucket-list items.
Search & AI Context History: Recommendation search history, chat agent query context, and preference logs.
Push Tokens & Communications: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens and notification settings.

Types of Data Retained and Retention Period

Certain data may be retained after account deletion under specific, strictly defined conditions:

Confirmed Travel Bookings & Financial Records: If you completed flight, hotel, or travel bookings through WanderAgent (or our fulfillment partners), booking reference records and financial transaction data are retained for up to 7 years solely to fulfill legal, tax, accounting, audit, and airline/GDS regulatory obligations.
Security & Abuse Prevention Logs: Anonymized system access logs (which stripped personal identifiers and link only to IP subnet data) are retained for up to 90 days for network security, rate limiting, and fraud prevention before being automatically overwritten.
