Privacy Policy

WanderAgent ("we", "us") provides AI-assisted travel planning through the WanderAgent mobile and web applications and the wanderagent.ai website (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you create an account or sign in with Google.
• Traveler and trip data — traveler profiles, travel preferences, destinations, dates, itineraries, and saved trips you create in the app.
• Booking information — when you book flights or other travel through the Service, passenger details required by the travel provider (such as names and dates of birth). Payment is processed by our booking and payment partners; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
• Location — approximate device location, only while the app is in use and only if you grant the location permission, to power nearby-destination discovery.
• Device and usage data — device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, performance measurements, and interaction events, collected via Google Firebase.
• Advertising identifiers — on mobile devices, the advertising ID may be used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent choices described below.

How we use information

• Provide and improve destination discovery, itinerary generation, and trip management.
• Process travel bookings you request.
• Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and debug crashes and performance issues.
• Send service notifications you enable (for example, trip and generation updates).
• Show advertising in the free tier of the app.

Advertising and consent

The free tier of the WanderAgent app shows ads served by Google AdMob. Where required by law (including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), the app presents a consent message powered by Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is requested, and no ads are requested until consent is resolved. You can revisit your consent choices at any time from Settings → Ad Privacy Options in the app. Depending on your choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. On iOS, ad personalization is additionally governed by Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Third-party services

The Service relies on the following processors and partners:

• Google Firebase (authentication, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, push messaging, app integrity) — Firebase privacy
• Google AdMob (advertising) — how Google uses ad data
• Google Maps Platform (maps, routes, and place data)
• Duffel (flight search and booking fulfilment) — passenger and payment details you provide at checkout are shared with Duffel and the operating airline to complete a booking
• Pexels (destination imagery)

Data retention and deletion

We keep account and trip data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing privacy@wanderagent.ai. Booking records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or airline-industry obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@wanderagent.ai. You can withdraw ad-related consent in the app as described above.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is restricted and audited. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
